OnSite Provides Client Accessibility
ConTrak clients can now access up-to-date project information
from their desktops – anywhere in the world.
OnSite, exclusively available to ConTrak clients, is a state-of-the-art online service, accessed through ConTrak’s corporate website, www.contrakcorp.com. The password-protected site allows clients access to a comprehensive project status report. Authorized visitors can keep track of recent progress, view current construction photos, review project documentation and communicate with ConTrak’s project managers.
The need for the service came from ConTrak’s work with international clients. A CEO or vice president of engineering based in Europe or Asia may be tracking several projects at once, anywhere in the world. With OnSite, these decision makers can take a virtual trip to the job site.
ConTrak client ABB, an international power and automation technologies company, was the first to use OnSite to track the progress of its project in Westerville. Project Manager Chris Heider says the service is helping to make the world a smaller place.
“OnSite is a valuable tool for the ABB project,” Chris said, “ABB is an international company, so there are many who are interested in the project’s growth. It’s a good way for them to keep updated in a simple and comprehensive manner.”
Chris said he received a lot of positive feedback from OnSite users at ABB, noting that it helped increase communication and generate enthusiasm for the project.
But OnSite isn’t just for global corporations. The service, which has been available for just under a year, has caught the interest of local clients. Buggyworks plans to use OnSite to track its ongoing project on West Nationwide Blvd., Columbus.
